Silky voice singer, song writer and rapper Apaatse is set to release his latest single off his upcoming album titled “MY NAME”. The song which is slated to be an instant banger would be released along the video which was shot and directed by Salifu Abdul Hafiz for DC Films.
In an interview with Apaatse about the theme of this song, he indicated that this is a love song on a very danceable beat and grove and his main motive was to celebrate love. He quickly added that the agenda for his music going forward is to bring exciting, clean and meaningful lyrics back into the dance beats because a lot of artists are now just putting out beats without good content.
When asked about his feud with Shatta Wale about his Shatta Michy comments earlier, he said it was an unfortunate and a regrettable outburst because he believes all artistes are working towards one goal of raising the flag of Ghana high so there is no need for unnecessary beefing in the industry.
Apaatse is set to release other videos and some more singles after this one in a build up to his album release later this year. Apaatse has featured on a number of collaborations and is currently one of the few artistes who were selected for the Appietus compilation 2017.
This latest single was recorded, mixed and mastered by Genius. He also indicated that the release of the video is scheduled for Saturday, May 20th 2017 and it would be live on social media and some selected TV stations and radio stations.
The wedding day singer and k3ba hit maker is poised to release a lot of good songs for the people of Ghana and to take his craft to a whole new level. Ghana should watch out for this talented guy.
