Bossbae is a Ghana based hardcore dancehall artiste. She shot into limelight following the release of two singles titled “City Cover” and “Bag a hole” which is receiving massive airplay and constructive criticism.
Bossbae started singing and writing her own song after she listened to a song by Timaya titled “Ruler” some years ago. She also listens to music by Bob Marley, Culture, Fantah Mojah, Vybz Kartel, Alkaline, Spice, Shatta Wale amongst others.
Bossbae gets inspired by things around her. “I have a lot of things on my mind that I would want the world to know about, so the easiest way to do that is to put them in my lyrics and sing them out”, she said with a smile. “So whenever you listen to my song, pay attention to the lyrics,” she added.
Bossbae is not officially signed on any record label yet but currently has an experience and dedicated management team that works around the clock to make her number one. “I’m not competing with anyone, but I know I’m the realest and hottest female dancehall artiste at the moment,” (laughs) she added.
“2017 is going to be a great year. I’ll be doing a vibrant media and club tour dubbed ‘A Night With Bossbae‘ so as to get closer to all my fans and let them feel my vibes. I’m also looking forward to signing a record deal to one of the top most dancehall record labels in Ghana. So stay tuned! I’m also looking forward to dropping my debut album titled #Disease in 2017,” she said.
