The aftermath of the disrespect act is here with us and will be on the lips on many for days. At least the American superstar Chris Brown’s aim of keeping us talking after leaving our beloved country is working.

A day after the incident, which saw C-Breezy smoking ‘Ganja’ infront of thousands including the police, the conscience of organisers, stakeholders in the entertainment industry and fans are state on confusion. After paying over $1million to bring him down to Ghana they all starred as in he is a form of god.

The positive side of the incident is, it exposes how weak the laws of the land are.

Expressing his view about the incident, the Member of Parliament for Wa and a Minister of State, Rashid Pelpuo condemned the act and called for the immediate arrest of Chris Brown.

“This is appalling. It is unacceptable. In Ghana we have laws and one of the laws is to ban drugs be it marijuana, ganja, weed or whatever it is being called.

“It is also internationally recognized that it is part of the group of drugs that should not be taken openly by people.

“So if Chris Brown did that, without recourse to our laws, it is so disturbing.

“…He is bringing in a culture which is contrary to the culture here. I don’t know whether he is not informed about it. But if he is informed and he has done that he has contravened our laws and he has to be cautioned and or arrested.

“…At the point he did it I think the police should have gone for him and I think that is unacceptable,” Pelpuo said.

The big brains behind the Hope City Concert, rld Communication and Charter House disapproved the act and described it as unfortunate.

They went further to state that, measures will be put in place to prevent future occurrence of such incident.

Am wondering how they are going to arrest Chris Brown though. lol.
