The Cape Coast Stadium was the place to be on Saturday 18th of April as Shatta Wale, Yaa Pono, Medikal, Renner, Kahpun, Orkortor Perry, Pope Skinny, Boggy Wenzda and others were on bill to perform at a show organized my Shatta Movement Empire.

Things didn’t go well as planned and unfortunately Yaa Pono couldn’t get the chance to perform. Unconfirmed report from a fan at the show stated that Yaa Pono’s name was mentioned but he wasn’t allowed to perform, check this post out:
GhanaNdwom contacted Yaa Pono and he made it known that he was backstage during Medikal’s performance and he knew he was supposed to perform after. He wasn’t given any reason why he was not allowed to perform. “I think some artistes fear to see me perform. They know the wonders i do when i am on stage,” was what he said. He tweeted this as well on his account.

Information gathered as well was that Nii Funny was also not allowed to perform. There might be more to this but well only the organizers can answer to this.
