Speaking about the EP, ”Chaos in Accra”, D.i King says ”The EP is a good follow up to my three singles. It is a collection of six songs that expresses the emotions that I have had in the past year while working on my craft; from heartbreak to finding love. All songs on the EP were recorded in Tema. The name of the EP is inspired by the disruption my music is going to cause in the industry upon release. It was really fun to work on this project and I hope my fans will enjoy it as much as I do”.
D.i King, originally from Port Harcourt, Nigeria, has been making music in Ghana for the last 10 years. His music has been described as being Afro Fusion, but his palette is quite wide and varied. He is a singer, songwriter and a performing artist. His influences include Burna Boy, Wande Coal and Fela Kuti, to mention a few. D.i King’s smooth vocals laid over and woven into Afro Fusion delicacies, are bound to position him as the big bad lover boy.
His one side chant is still a mystery which we shall uncover as we give what he has in store for his fans and followers a listen. ”Chaos in Accra” is released under Organized Khaos and it’s available on all digital streaming platforms including iTunes below.
