Host of Happy FM’s drive time, Isaac De-Graft Danquah well known in showbiz circles as DJ Advicer and his lovely wife, Mrs. Ida Danquah (then Ida Amenya) grave a marvelous performance of Flavour Nabania hit song “Ada Ada” at their holy matrimony which took place on February 2 at the Accra Prisons Interdenominational Church, Cantonment – Accra.
DJ Advicer who defied all odds to give his wedding ceremony the African Traditional setup blessed with beautiful Kente outfits explained “I wanted to get away from the European kind of weddings and be more Ghanaian which is beautiful, that is the reason for the Kente touch”.
To the surprise of all those in attendance – musicians, radio and television presenters, movie stars, friends and family, the ace presenter while on the couple’s first date requested the hit song “Ada Ada” to be played which he and his wife did justice to it with a marvelous performance.
One could clearly notice being a choir master, has really as improved the DJ Advicer’s singing. Line by line, word for word, hook by hook DJ Advicer re-acted the music video of song.
DJ Advice been a great pillar in the development and promoting of Hiplife on and off radio, from Choice 102.3fm to Happy 98.9fm where works now.
His hardwork and dedication has earned him nomination for the upcoming Ghana DJ Awards in the Hiplife Dj of the year category.
