AfroBeat, a new genre of music that evolve from the fusion of African melodies with elements pop music has emerged as the new African sound and its popularity can be felt across the African continent, UK, US & europe.
Anglophone Africa has the dominance with french speaking countries quickly catching up.
DJ Vibez, one of Ghana’s fast rising DJs is set to release AfroBeats360 on 6th march to affirm the assesion tha Afrobeat is the new sound that will allow Africans artiste to be accepted in the global urban culture.
In a telephone convesation with Dj Vibez, he disclosed that Afrobeat has come to stay and its evident in the significant amount of collaboration between African artiste notably Ghana, Nigeria and South Africa and to a large extent world renowned artiste in USA have worked with African acts on various project due to the familiarity of sound that afrobeat presents
“Afrobeats is dominating the playlist in clubs, events and parties across Africa US and euroupe, my mission is to create another altenative to satisfy the ever rising thirst for Afrobeat hence my AfroBeat360. Its a cocktail of music that u cant get anywhere” He added
