Another season of the National Science and Math Quiz is upon us. Each school has prepared very well to clinch the title of best school in the whole nation. So far this year, there have been so many surprise winners, which only proves how bad the schools want to leave legacies.
Derick Kobina Bonney, Gh comedy King, who is an old student of St. John’s Grammar School was super excited with the feat his school achieved in the competition so far. The comedian visited the team at their camp and made some donations to them. As a proud old boy he couldn’t hide his excitement in what the team has been able to achieve.
Their next quiz is on Thursday June 27, 2019 at the R.S Amegashie Auditorium inside the University of Ghana Business School at 8am. He also motivated the team to go for the ultimate gold. “We can’t reach this far in the competition if we are not the best, no school in this competition is bigger than us. Do not be intimidated by the names of the school, you have earned your seat at the table, so dine with greatness. For our next competition it will be equal to the 4-0 victory Liverpool had against European giants Barcelona.” He said.
“I am always there for you, I will keep supporting you guys from my small corner. For our quiz on Thursday I know you guys are coming out victorious. I will continue donating. I believe this year is our year and we are winning the Brilla Science and Maths Quiz.” He added.
Items Donated were Rush Energy Drink, Verna Drinking Water, DJ Sparkling Non-Alcoholic Drink and Star Biscuit. St. John’s Grammar School face Ghana National College and Bishop Herman next.
