As an autodidact, Gloria Boateng succeeds to produce her own beats and to emerge as a singer-songwriter. However, her energetic, catchy beats were never put on record before.
Gloria Boateng, born and raised in Ghent, went looking for her roots. When she was reunited with her father, who is from Kumasi (Ghana), Gloria turned out to have a lot of family spread around the world. Since this encounter, Gloria has been able to develop herself as a person and as an artist.
Kumasi is the first track of her upcoming debut EP. For Gloria, the first note of a new song is accompanied by text, emotion and visuals straight away. Kumasi will therefore be provided with a video clip, created by Aïmad Doughan, who also worked on video clips for Stromae, among others.
