Dynamism of a musician is key and not all musicians can show that. Akoo Nana is one act who has shown a different level of it and it’s making waves in his musical career. The Classic Man who puts up a different level of swag released “Amponsah” last year and it was just on point.
A follow up has taken place this year and it’s titled “PayDay” and already the song is receiving a greater response. In an interview on Accra Fm’s Entertainment Capital with Dr Premier, the Classic Man stressed his zeal for the highlife genre of Ghanaian music.
“I have recorded loads of songs in the past and had different collaborations as well. My management which is 360 Group took notice of the highlife desire and need for stressed the us to venture into that genre of Ghanaian music,” he said. “Also when “Amponsah was released, i knew it was an instant hit as we put in the right effort. People didn’t believe i was ready to take highlife far but i am telling you that highlife music is here to stay with the Akoo Nana brand.”
He further talked about the need to put in proper structures to help the current trend of Ghanaian music and help artistes earn from their sweat.
