Social entrepreneurs of Joy Aid Foundation goes into the limelight after launching their NGO on Saturday 2nd June, 2018 with the Teshie Children’s Home. As they graced the home with clothing, toys and some food items.
Joy Aid Foundation (JAF), is an NGO with a focus on providing quality training on leadership, environmental care and establishing sustainable talents amongst the youth in Africa and beyond.
Founders of the Foundation Ms. Joy N. Y Agyepong and Mr. Garry Dwomoh in an interview said the NGO came into fruition last year and was registered in November. Their aim for the launch was to have a feast with the children of the home, furnish them with clothing and food it’s and also educate them on the importance of environmental protection as well as how to recycle waste products. They emphatically said that they believe the environment and the people living in it contribute mostly to ensure its sustainability through diverse means.
Mr. Mosses Lamptey, a caretaker at the orphanage home expressed his appreciation to the team of volunteers for making time with the home. He’s of hope that Joy Aid Foundation with make a come back to the home and establish one of their project “CLEAN Green project” on [Confidence, Leadership, Environment, Attitude and Nature] which will enhance their soft skills and yield profit hence eliminates poverty.
