The Tod-Teen Republic has unveiled multiple award winning musician, Okyeame Kwame as Brand Ambassador to lead their new initiative dedicated to the affairs and well being of underprivileged boys in our society dubbed the Junior Boys Conference.
The launch event which was held at the UDS Guest house in Accra, hosted veteran Mentors, Dr. Charles Buckman, Mr. Francis Luther King, Rev Albert Ocran and Mrs. Ethel Effah, the founder and CEO of Tod Teen Republic.
Accepting the role, Okyeame Kwame who also received the Super Dad Award alongside Michael Kobina Hanson the husband to Kokui Selormey of Viasat1 reiterated his commitment to play the role recounting the support his own father played in his career when he fired him from his job as a radio presenter to go pursue rap music.
The Junior Boys Conference was birthed out of frequent interaction with a lot of children who sadly identified as boys have not been properly attended to and have become so addicted to unnecessary things aiding them to lose the touch with real life.
The maiden conference which will be held in October will give the opportunity to boys who need to be modeled into becoming responsible men in society. They will be exposed to a community of role models who will affirm the values of masculinity without disrespecting or devaluing women.
