Ace musician Kaakyire Kwame Fosu popularly known as KK Fosu, has hinted his readiness to drag 4Syte TV to a competent court of jurisdiction to answer why they took him, his career and fans for a ride at the just ended 7th edition of the award ceremony.
K.K Fosu who recently re-plunged himself onto the music scene with three new singles titled: “Pani di Pani”, “Adekye Nsroma” and “Enkasa”. Add to that, he has performed at various high-brow events since the release of these singles and he finds it rather absurd that organizers of the MTN Music Video Awards organised by 4Syte TV could trash his brand and deceive the public without apology.
K.K Fosu who was nominated in two categories of the just ended MTN MVA namely “Best Male Video” of the year and “Best Highlife Video” of the year in an interview, stated that he would be going to court to seek the necessary compensation for his image and works used by the event organisers to promote their event and on the final day not awarded the category.
KK Fosu registered his displeasure at the gross disrespect shown him by the organisers of the award scheme. He added that although he was nominated to receive honours on the night, he never received any official communication from the organisers to present him with even complimentary tickets to the event. To add insult to injury, he stated that after publicizing the awards among his fans and followers to solicit their votes for him, with others even buying tickets to see him at the awards ceremony, the category for which he was nominated; “Best HighLife Video” of the year was not featured.
Asked about his music business going forward, he mentioned that he would be releasing the title track of his upcoming album “AM BACK” featuring Sarkodie. He also indicated that very soon he would be starting his “AM BACK LIVE BAND TOUR” which would be his first full live band tour organised by his management.
