History was rewritten at this year’s edition of the prestigious Felabration in honouring of Nigerian music legend, Fela Kuti.
The event which came off at Alliance Francaise saw the likes of many talented musicians performing including our very own singer, Kankam.
With the year’s edition being the first of its kind to be held outside the homeland -Nigeria, young Afrobeats artistes joined some music legends based in Ghana such as Ebo Taylor, Ambolley, Yaa Yaa, Kyekyeku, billy in celebrating Fela Kuti.
The outstanding performance for night by uprising singer, Kankam caught the eyes of patrons. Kankam with his unique singer abilities gave a exceptional vocal display supported by smooth dance moves, leaving fans asking for more.
Dressed in African print black shirt with African prints designed infront, Kankam made use of the opportunity provided to introduced his new outlook dressing which came with one sleeve.
He ended it all with a performance of the great single “Gentleman” orginally performed by Fela and also introduced his new released singles “Mekondo Adebi” and “Juju”.
