Afrobeats, Afropop and Highlife musician has recently released a new single #CHENAWE (now trending on social media Twitter) which seems to be directed at the current government of Ghana John Mahama and his administration.
In the high tempo, quite likeable and danceable, song-Ked2besi is heard singing his heart out about the unfair distribution of Ghana’s wealth among the elite few.
Critics have called the song interesting. So far the numerous music lovers who have downloaded the single have adopted Slogans from it and are using the term CHENAWE to express personal feelings in different circumstances. One such music lover K Aning also known as Slick when asked about what he thinks of the song he replied “I love it because I love my girl and it’s time for me to go home and Chenawe”
Some distraught citizens have also labelled the song as revolutionary and have clinched to the phrase Ebere No Aso or Bo Adoma No to signify change.
