Awoshie, Park & Pork Pub came to a standstill last Saturday when the first edition of the #StopOverTour made a stop in the vicinity with Koo Ntakra and friends.
The event which was witnessed by over two thousand (2000) people on the open road in front of the pub saw the ever charged crowd defying the rains to enjoy back to back performances from the over 20 artistes who mounted the stage on the night.

Even the light out in the middle of the headline artist Koo Ntakra’s performance couldn’t not deter the crowd from moving an inch, as they kept waiting amidst clapping to freestyles from the Akwapem rapper till the lights were restored for another 45mintues electrifying performance by the hitmaker, performing some of his smashing singles including ‘Tsotsoo, Move back, Wurewurafour, Ask for me’ and the crowd could not hold but to rap along when he did his full verse on Sarkodie’s Trumpet that he featured on.
The night saw young and the ever vibrant female dancehall singjay Renner ‘rained’ heavily with one of the most powerful female performances in recent times in Ghana, leaving the crowd to ask for more when she treated them to her version of Shatta Wale’s ‘Ayoo’ song.
Tee Rhyme, Street Wise, Phrame, Bassaw, Gina Gee, Datz, Kassino among others also gave the crowd some amazing stage craft performances to keep them on their feet till around 3am in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Nana Asare of Xlive together with MC Marrydman entertained throughout the over 7hours show, alongside Dj T Cool and Dj Confidence jamming the crowd to an unforgettable night.
The #StopOverTour train is schedule to continue to the next venue in two weeks’ time in Kotobabi on the 30th September.
