It all came down as Deon Africa and
Empire Entertainment staged the biggest concert of the festival, which saw over thousands troop into the stadium to catch glimpse of dazzling performances from featured artiste including Keche, Dobble, Kofi Kinaata, Koo Ntakra, alongside Cape coast rising stars.
In what looked like a one way affair from the start with a stagnant crowd having nothing to roar about after series of performances from most of the Cape Coast up coming arts, Koo Ntakra raised the bar and gave the crowd a value for their money when he step onto the stage thrilling the crowd with a master class performance.
His cameo was preceded by his hype man MC Marrydman, who wet the appetite of the crowd with the popular #Powase slogan, which the crowd chanted and cheered to as Koo Ntakra finally took to the stage. Beginning his performance with his popular comic rap free styles, the stadium got gingered and more lively than never before, as he threw to them his yet to be released Phone Call and Adom songs. At this stage,one would hardly think those songs were already on airwaves. The crowd got charged up as the Powase rapper unleashed his #Banku song,which seem popular among many in the crowd. Koo Ntakra finally wrapped up with his new single #Wurewurafo and it took the MC of the night to salvage the artiste as the crowd roared for more.
Colleague artistes including Keche, Dobble and Dj Advicer from Happy fm who was a guest MC for the event, and most who watched on big up the chap after making a case for himself as one of the young artiste to watch performance wise and lyrical content.
Before the Saturday night performance, Koo Ntakra joined Cape fm’s #OrangeFriday street carnival, which attracted one of the biggest crowd in the festival’s history.
Koo Ntakra is poised for more after dazzling the central region with his sterling performances and looks forward to threat other regions and towns to more showmanship, as he prepares to officially release his #Wurewurafo single on the 15th of September, whiles he plans to drop two videos by the close of this month.
