Hours after releasing his debut EP, ”Drunk Texts & Confessions” (DTC), Kweiks has found himself at the top of the Ghana iTunes chart. The EP, which dropped midnight globally on October 2, 2018, quickly rose to no.2 with Lil Wayne’s ”Carter V” and Sarkodie’s ”Highest” at no.1 and no.3 respectively.

The feedback on the EP is amazing and it is exciting to see such reviews about an artists debut work. By midday, the EP shot up to no.1 on the chart, overtaking Carter V. Even though the ”DTC” EP has moved back to no.2, it is still commendable and a great feat.

The ”DTC” EP is a 7 song project featuring Ko-Jo Cue and two new names, DaDi and YN the Afropikin. All three featured artists came with a different vibe and for a project, which is packed with a different sound of Afrobeat; there is hope for the craft.

”Drunk Texts & Confessions” is still streaming and up for sale on Apple Music, iTunes, Aftown music, Spotify, Tidal and all other digital platforms globally. This is a project worth the money spent on buying it. It is carefully written and arranged with a central theme; something we rarely get in recent times.

We give this EP a full 5. Check it out too and leave your rating.
