The aftermath of the just ended Vodafone Ghana Music Awards was quit ugly as the internet flooded with troll at Medikal for not winning a single award out of the 7 nominations.

Right after the organizers of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards announced the nominees for this year’s award ceremony, Medikal became the talk of Ghana as he grabbed 7 nominations and 4 extra nominations on songs he featured on. Making him the artiste with the highest nomination and breaking the record of number of nominations grabbed by a new artiste.
The unfortunate happened at the awards night when the rap star had to walk home without an award out of the 7 nominations. Social media platforms were all about Medikal since that night and till now, people are still wasting their precious time talking about something he (Medikal) isn’t even worried about.
Every human will get disappointed if they should go through that; and Medikal is no exception but, to quickly get over it shows how matured one is and how focused he is on his music career. Lots of celebrities and industry players reacted and expressed their disappointment. Such people include Da Hammer of the Last 2 Music group, Reggie Rockstone (Founder of Hip-Life), Edem, Sister Derby, Wanlov, just to mention a few…
Then he dropped the first tweet which is directly connected to the awards and later pleaded with his fans not to insult Fancy Gadam because he won an award they all thought he (Medikal) should have won. He did say Fancy Gadam equally deserves it too and they should support him as well.
