Ghanaian afropop, dancehall and reggae act, Richard Quaittoo, popularly known as Rootikal Swagger says the office of Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) does not look very attractive.
According to the musician, as a zealous contributor to the entertainment industry, he wanted to register himself as a member of MUSIGA but on entering their building, he noticed lots of things weren’t in good shape.

Rootikal Swagger who was on Hitz FM’s “Daybreak Hitz” morning show hosted by Andy Dosty to promote his new song “Me Nko Me Da”, on Wednesday August 15, 2018, said even though he visited the offices of MUSIGA during the day, he had to navigate his way through the outfit’s corridors with his phone’s light because of poor lighting.
“Walking through the corridors in the office to register, there were no lights. I had to switch on my phone’s light to go to the office and it was daytime,” he said.
“I think the main auditorium is also used for church service because I noticed church banners over there,” he added.
Again, he is appealing to very member should come to their aid, but he will do his best to help develop the place.
“My inclusion as a member can help develop the place in future”.
