Magic Records frontline artiste, Shegah, has released a brand new video to officially kick her year.
“Love & Money” produced by TomBeatz came with an official video launch by Shegah and her label (Magic Records) on Sunday, March 24 in Accra. The event pulled some notable bloggers, TV and Radio presenters at the soirée.
“Love & Money” is an afropop jam, groovy it is and a clean lyric tune that can play for every occasion and platform. Shegah veers towards this path to prove her versatility in how she can switch between different genres, from Hiplife to Dancehall, Reggae and Afrobeats.
Explaining the concept of the new video directed by DCTM, the Veteran Dancehall Singjay openly told the media that, she has “invested a lot in her body and brand that any man who wants to have her must have enough money”.
“If the only thing I can get is just love, I am not sure it’s worth it. I have invested in my body and my brand. And if after all these years I will get only love, I think the man needs to come proper. Good money and property to sustain me as a woman. I deserve better”, Shegah intimated.
