Hours after releasing his debut EP, ”Drunk Texts & Confessions” (DTC), Kweiks has found himself at the top of the Ghana iTunes chart. The EP, which dropped midnight globally on October 2, 2018, quickly rose to no.2 with Lil Wayne’s ”Carter V” and Sarkodie’s ”Highest” at no.1 and no.3 respectively.
Check Out : Wendy Shay – Psalm 35 (Feat Kuami Eugene x Sarkodie) (Prod by M.O.G Beatz)
The feedback on the EP is amazing and it is exciting to see such reviews about an artists debut work. By midday, the EP shot up to no.1 on the chart, overtaking Carter V. Even though the ”DTC” EP has moved back to no.2, it is still commendable and a great feat.
The ”DTC” EP is a 7 song project featuring Ko-Jo Cue and two new names, DaDi and YN the Afropikin. All three featured artists came with a different vibe and for a project, which is packed with a different sound of Afrobeat; there is hope for the craft.
”Drunk Texts & Confessions” is still streaming and up for sale on Apple Music, iTunes, Aftown music, Spotify, Tidal and all other digital platforms globally. This is a project worth the money spent on buying it. It is carefully written and arranged with a central theme; something we rarely get in recent times.
We give this EP a full 5. Check it out too and leave your rating.

Just when almost everyone seems not to be patronizing the Reign Album by Dancehall act Shatta Wale, Sherry Boss has stated he will personally be buying copies worth ₵1 million in support of the project.
Check Out : Eddie Khae – Do The Dance (Mixed by XLC)
In an interview on Pink FM, the rapper/entrepreneur said Shatta Wale has been an inspiration to him for years and now that he has been blessed, donating ₵1 million to his album project is the least he can do to pay him back.
I came from the street like Shatta Wale and i know how stressful it is to make life on the street. One thing i love about Shatta Wale is that he likes to give to the needy. He might act tough, rude, bad, wrong, and what have you, but the love he has for his people on the street never dies, regardless. Since i got my breakthrough i havent really kept in touch with the Gringo man but with his album getting closer and all the attention he is giving it, i can only give ₵1 million to let him know the street appreciates his love and care for them. Sherry Boss stated
Asked if he has made any effort on reaching Shatta Wale about this offer, Sherry Boss confirmed, and said, he has been calling Shatta Wale for some time now but seems he doesnt pick up calls from unknown numbers. However, he is still trying to get in touch with him, and arrange how best to present this offer. Sherry Boss added
Sherry Boss has been in the music industry for years but went silent for a while after his song with the rap prophet, Obrafour was released under his Execution Entertainment label.
He urged the media to help him get this message to Shatta Wale since his efforts are not going through to him.

Over the weekend the 3rd edition of the Ghana Music Awards UK was held at the The Gaumont Palace (Dominion Center). On the night, various artistes based in the UK and Ghana were awards for their respective categories in which they won nominations for.
Gbevu Music Group signed act Gold Kay on that night was awarded the UK Based Afrobeats Artiste Of The Year. Prior to him being called on stage, there seem to be a mixup of events. The nominess were mentioned and when it came to the winners, instead of the name Gold Kay being announced the presenter of the award kept referring to him as Stormzy.
Striking resemblance to the UK Based rapper will certainly be the cause of this all. The audience were all in surprise as the presenter consistently mentioned Stormzy as the winner even though he wasn’t in that category.
Your guess is as good as mine as the resemblance took all over the place as loads of people went online to compare the images of both acts.
GoldKay beat NSG, Kwamz & Flava, Mista Silva, GB, Geo Wellington, Eugy and Atumpan to win this category.

It is a rare thing for modern-day entertainment personalities to openly profess their love for Christ. Our very own Nana Yaw Oduro Agyei , known to most as Trigmatic, is clearly an exception to the “rule”. His open passion and zeal for the things of thee Kingdom is an admirable trait that led him to boldly walk the streets of Dansoman early Saturday morning with Potter’s Family Chapel in their second Prayer Walk, dubbed “Shake it off”. Potter’s Family Chapel, located in Dansoman, opposite the Karikari Brobbey Park is headed by Prophet Alex Armstrong.
Check Out : DJ Quest Features Kwesi Arthur, Kuami Eugene, Shatta Wale On His “Summer Party Mix”
The Prayer Walk saw Trigmatic and the entire church walking from Dansoman Roundabout through the principal streets of Dansoman to the Karikari Brobbey Park. It was a spiritual exercise, aimed at claiming Dansoman as a territory for Christ while spreading the word about the church’s upcoming programme, the Great Exchange.
Trigmatic has always displayed his craft with a unique and infectious style that draws people into whichever story he tells. His special story-telling abilities has made him a household name, gathering many accolades. He applies that same will, if not a stronger one, to his love for God. Not one to hide his faith, Trigmatic can often be found speaking about God’s love to many. His love is contagious and draws many around him to Christ.
