Ayesem Wins Ghana Music Awards UK ‘Uncovered Artiste of the Year’
Stephen Kobina Siaw, popularly known as Ayesem is 2018 Ghana Music Awards UK’s Uncovered Artiste of the year.

Ghanaian songstress, Wendy Shay, has dropped hints of dropping an upcoming collaboration with BET award-winning rapper Sarkodie and “Wish Me Well” hitmaker Kwami Eugene.
Although the “Uber Driver” hitmaker refused to give a “freestyle” of the song, she hinted that it is a gospel song which is meant to inspire her fans.
“I would release a gospel collaboration with Kwami Eugene and Sarkodie next month so fans should keep calm and watch out” Wendy stated.
Wendy Shay who many have described as the replacement of the late Ebony added that she would release her first album hopefully by the end of the year.

Ulterior motive of the awards scheme is to encourage and push women who are doing well in various endeavours in life to light the path of other women to follow. As a breast cancer survivor, the jazz goddess and humanitarian wants to drum home awareness, importance of regular check up, self examination, etc of breast cancer to her fellow women. Naturally, Stephanie’s love for humanity is letter-perfect therefore she supports them in every way she can to lift their hope high and put smile of their face.

Support Kwadee's Comeback By Playing His Songs This Weekend – Prince Mackay Pleads With Radio Stations
The CEO of RTP Awards, Mr. Prince Mackay, has called on radio presenters in Ghana to dedicate the first weekend in the month of October to promote songs of hip-life sensation Okomfo Kwadee’s – a move he believes will help show “industry solidarity” for the artiste’s comeback.

Jerry Annaba, known on stage as Kwadee is a fine musician who blends indigenous Ghanaian folktales with urban sounds. He has been off active music business for some years – reportedly undergoing rehabilitation treatment. He will however stage an introductory performance after years of silence this weekend at the 8th edition of the Radio and Television Personality Awards, (RTP Awards 2018) at the Accra International Conference Centre to more than five thousand expected live audience and more through broadcast. “He is a strong brand. We have been supporting him but we must make it an effort to promote his songs this weekend. Let’s dedicate Thursday 4th, Friday 5th and Saturday 6th October to the active airing of Okomfuor Kwadee’s music” – Prince Mackay
Kwadee also has a tour planned in Europe soon, so this is just what he needs – the CEO or RTP Awards further stressed.
The call adds to the many advocacies pushing for more local contents in the media by some stakeholders with some stressing on strict 80% or Ghanaian contents.
Will this call be heeded to for Kwadee to have a smoother comeback onto the scene, or will he be ignore to his fate – to get into the dirt to work and push his songs all by himself? “I don’t believe we are wicked people. Ghanaians love Kwadee and will love to hear his songs, only if the presenters will play it. This guy has done so much for our music and at this particular point in his time, even though playing the songs will not bring him direct cash, he will be happy to know his people still have him in mind” – Macky explained to Dr Kelly Mensah.

It’s Twitch on the track again! The young talent loaded singer seems very determined to over feed Ghanaians with good and banging music. People went crazy over his hit song “take your somtin” which features Bet nominee Kwesi Arthur. His new single “Hwana” carries equally lit vibes and fans are already all over it.
Hwana is a love song which expresses regards to a lady’s feelings. It has lyrics people can relate to because most of the things Twitch put out are questions we ask ourselves on a daily. This is definitely one for the guys to make an anthem from.
