Daddy Lumba, Samini, Kojo Antwi Epic Performance At 2018 African Legends Night
The much-patronized concert christened African Legends Night thrilled thousands of patrons at the plush Kempinski Hotel on Saturday 29th September 2018.
The event seeks to celebrate legends for contributing their quota to the development of great African music as the night witnessed Samini, Daddy Lumba and Mr. Music Man [Kojo Antwi].
Kojo Antwi mounted the stage as he thrilled patrons gathered with his back-to-back heydays songs, which saw many danced their heart out.
Mr. Music Man rocked the night with Adiapena, Odo, Medofo Pa, Tom and Jerry among other great masterpiece songs.

MOBO award winner Emmanuel Andrew Samini, was next on stage as he also took the audience through his indigenous and contemporary songs. The young legend didn’t disappoint with his energetic performance as patrons applauded him for his sterling performance on the night.
The night climaxed with a birthday celebration of legendary Charles Kojo Fosu aka Daddy Lumba as he entertained his die-hard fans with authentic music.
African Legends Night has played host to great music icons from Ghana as well as other African nations and has over years carved an event niche catered to people who have soft spot for local African music.
Past editions have included headliners; Ivorian Freddy Meiway, South Africa’s Yvonne Chaka Chaka. Hugh Masekela, Nigeria’s Femi Kuti, Kanda Bongo Man from DR Congo, George Darko, Amakye Dede, Ben Brako, Ghanaian ace Saxophonist Steve Bedi, Wiyaala and many others.

Sista Afia wins at 3rd TV Music Video Awards 18
Ghana’s female songstress Sista Afia has been awarded at the just ended 3rd TV Music Video Awards.
The event which was held last Saturday inside Movenpick Hotel witnessed the appearance of top industry players from the music, movie and corporate sector.
The “Slay Queen” crooner, Sista Afia had in total 4 nominations, but won 2 out of them.
She won the Best Hiplife Video with “Pass U” and Best hip hop female video with D33d3w by Eno Barony featuring herself.
Sista Afia is currently promoting her latest single titled “Champion Atta” off her maiden album which is expected to be out in few weeks from now.

Okyeame Kwame – Made in Ghana (Feat Kidi)
Celebrated Ghanaian musician, Okyeame Kwame has launched the first single off his upcoming album ‘Made in Ghana’, in Cape Coast.
The launch took place on Friday, 28th September, 2018 at the Chief’s Palace in Cape Coast.
He also paid a courtesy call on the Municipal Chief Executive (CEO) of Cape Coast, Ernest Arthur and introduced the ‘Made in Ghana’ project to him.
Later in the evening, Okyeame Kwame met with his fans at Sikakrom in Cape Coast to entertain them with a performance of his songs.
The new song titled ‘Made in Ghana’ features Kidi, Ebo Taylor and Dan Grahl.
‘Made in Ghana’ which happens to be the theme song for the yet-to-be-released ‘Made in Ghana’ album, talks about the pride of the country. It mentions the need to promote the various aspect of Ghanaian culture.
According to Okyeame Kwame, the purpose of the ‘Made In Ghana’ project is to imbue a sense of national pride, foster music tourism and expose indigenous music fusion.
After receiving a copy of the song, the Paramount Chief of the Oguaa Traditional Area, Osabarima Kwesi Atta II, urged Kwame to use his brand as a tourism ambassador to re-orient negative perceptions about musicians.
“Being a tourism ambassador means you represent the country. There are certain wrong perceptions about musicians that need to be changed. And I believe it is a great task on you now to use your influence to change some of these perceptions,” he stated.
The upcoming album also features Afriyie Wutah, Kurl Songs, Kwan Pa band, Wiyaala, Yaa Yaa, Atongo Simba and Fancy Gadam.
Others are Wulomei, Feli Nuna and Kuami Eugene.
The songs represent the 10 regions and their cultures, bringing varied Ghanaian rhythms together through music, videos and paraphernalia.
Each song will be launched at a location in the region it represents.
As a tourism ambassador, Kwame would also use shots of historical and tourist locations in the various regions for his music videos.
He has also created a pyjamas line called ‘OK Impressions’ designed with African fabric, as part of his bid to promote Ghanaian culture and tourism through the arts.
The entire album will finally be released on December 14, 2018.
