A lot of actors have given different reasons to as to why Ghanaian movie industry is not vibrant as it used to be and for Ghanaian movie producer Prince Joshua Kofi Morrison based in the United States, poor script and lack of support from Ghana is the main factor killing our movie industry.
According to the movie producer who has been in the movie business close to a decade, we can easily sell our movies to the outside world and make good amount of money if we produce the storyline and good picture quality is on point.
He explained that if other African countries like Nigeria, South Africa etc can sell their movies outside, why can’t Ghana do same.
Prince Morrison added that the movie industry can rise again if government paid a little attention to it.
“In other countries, the government invests a lot in the movie industry because its knows the benefits it brings but the situation is different here. The government can make a lot of money in the movie industry when it invest more” he said.
Apart from the two main factors causing the collapse of the movie industry, Prince Morrison said Ghanaians not being able to market sale our movies outside is another factor.
“We have a couple of good movies I thought could have been marketed well outside the country but I didn’t see that happen. The likes of movie producer Shirley Frimpong Manso and other producers are not doing badly but we have failed to get our movies internationally” he said
Known for movies like Love City, People’s Dilemma, Dream Nappers, among others, Prince Morrison said he is ready for with a mind blowing movie titled Wuman. (Should be; WuMan)
The purpose of this film is to bring worldwide awareness and action to cruel and inhumane treatment of women especially Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) in developing countries who do not have a voice. 
Casts in the movie are Zack Orji, Patience Ozorkwo, Frank Artus, Nana Ama McBrown, Kalsoume Sinare, Adjetey Annang and Paul Acquah Wilson.
Speaking in an interview with Showbiz, Prince Joshua Kofi Morrison said “The story which centers on the practice of Female Genital Mutilation and Sex Trafficking is dear to his heart adding that he will go all out to promote it and create the public awareness”
“The issues of FMG and Sex Trafficking have been on the forefront of the U.N, world leaders, WHO and other world organizations’ discussion and agenda. Yet, it continues to elude many leaders, both national and international.
This film will help to compel attention, rekindle concerns, and express the need for international re-focus” he said.

Patrons held spellbound at August Worship
The atmosphere at Maker’s House Chapel in Kwabenya was on Sunday was charged with breathtaking performances as patrons of this year’s August Worship were held spellbound.
The event proved to be a great worship experience right from the commencement, as worshipers filled the auditorium and the space outside before the 4 pm announced time.

It was an amazing introduction with a well rehearsed chorography from the Jeshurun Okyere Global Outreach (JOGO) team, interspersed with some hymnal worship, which got most people on their feet to worship.
There was a huge surge in the atmosphere of worship as the host Jeshurun OKyere took his turn to lead the gathering in worship, with his amazing performance.
Ike Nannor was next to be called on stage by Jeshurun, to bless patrons with his wonderful delivery on the stage causing a lot of goose bumps in the auditorium.
Gospel music diva, Cynthia MacCauley, took the gathering to a different level with her mind-blowing worship style, which switched most patrons into a prayerful mood.
The time came for international worshipper, Nathaniel Bassey to further unleash more anointing into the lives of patrons.
As usual he was irresistible on the trumpet, causing patrons to declare new things in their lives as he performed songs like, Imela, Onise Inyanu, You are God, Take Your Glory, No Other God, among other awesome songs from his repertoire.
Intermittently, the gathering was blessed with words of exaltation from The General Overseer of the Maker’s House Chapel International, Dr. Michael Boadi Nyamekye and Rev. Ampiah Kwofie of Ampiah Kwofie Ministries.
The Minister of Communications, Ursula Owusu Ekufful, Flagbearer aspirant of the National Democratic Congress, NDC, Joshua Alabi, Chief Executive Officer of the Excellent In Broadcasting (EIB), Nathaniel Adisi, affectionately called Bola Ray, legendary Sound engineer, Fred Kyei Mensah, and gosepel artiste Cece Twum among others attended the event.

Hundreds Throng GNTV Maiden Kelewele Party With Stars
The maiden edition of GNTV’s Kelewele Party held yesterday [21st August 2018] saw hundreds of patrons who thronged at the West Hills mall with Ghanaian celebrities billed for the event.
Christened “Kelewele Party” witnessed stands mounted for exhibitors with their products sold on the night.
Celebrities billed for the event include Eddie Khae, Sefa, Dahlin Gage, Kobla Jnr, Kwesi Slay, Danny Beats, Sista Afia among others fried Kelewele at the event with host Kwesi Dope and Nealyon of GNTV.
Patrons were thrilled with sterling performances by these artistes billed after they fried their Kelewele, played Fifa game.
Speaking in an interview, with blagogee.com Richmond Keelson Manager of GNTV revealed this is our maiden Kelewele Party and the response to the event has yielded the results we wanted and we going to host this event annually to engage with our patrons and subscribers of our channel.
When quizzed next venue for the 2019 Kelewele Party? He said, for now, it’s too early but myself and my team will go back to the drawing board to strategies for next Kelewele party and I want to encourage people to come for the next year’s kelewele party.
