According to the duo, the upcoming album is a complete Hip-hop project and would take every listener ‘back to the basics’.

Addressing the press, Shaker and Kojo said: “We took it back to the basics with this project and made it all about the art”.

Just like any other project, they faced little issues and that has to do with cutting down the number of tracks from 20 to 12. To them, every single track recorded worth the time and energy invested hence, it was difficult to oust some.

The Best African Rapper (B.A.R) thrilled some super models in the middle of the presentation. Studio 189 surprised attendees with a full-blown concert, which got everybody dancing to the rhythm of E.L’s Afrobeat music. Even Dawson joined in, busting some moves with Paula Abdul.

The models then featured the line by standing in groups, while talking and dancing with one another. The participants included people of all ages, ethnicities and colors. ”It’s all about inclusiveness”, Erwiah said at the beginning of the event.

Actress, Rosario Dawson also debuted her latest Studio 189 collection at the Fashion Week with a special touch. Upon entering the event held at Metropolitan West, the invitees found that there were no traditional seats – stones replaced seats! – and staff members roamed around, sampling pieces from the collection. Dawson began the show by asking for a moment of silence to remember those affected by the attacks on 9/11. She followed in with a video about Studio 189’s social justice work and the impact it’s having in Africa.

The clothing stayed true to an African aesthetic with bright colors, light fabrics, and native prints.

E.L who is already working on his new album indeed set the place ablaze with his Afrobeat songs. The ‘Koko’ hitmaker is currently on tour in the states to promote his upcoming album ”WAVs” (West African Vibes) which is due for release later this year.

Patapaa’s One Corner Topping Charts On Radio

Patapaa
Patapaa

Call it silly, call it unintelligible, call it fun, or funny, Patapaa’s One Corner has kicked Wutah’s comeback banger ‘Bronya’ off the number one spot on the Adom fm Airtel Chat Show.

Check Out : Sarkodie – Baby (Feat Mugeez)

The highlife tune had been number one on the chat for some time now until music lovers thought ‘One Corner’ deserved to take the position.

The Airtel Chat Show hosted by one of Ghana’s finest DJ’s Andy Dosty, is a music show that rates the top 20 hottest songs of the week. The criteria for deciding how well these songs are doing are based on a wide range of determining factors. Correspondents from all over the country make submissions on what the regions, top five songs are, online music downloading sites are monitored, social media opinions are gathered, and callers requests are taken into consideration as well.

Consequently, the song which seems to be stirring up a craze in social media circles, last Saturday on the show made it to number one. It is not certain how long it can maintain its position, for many critics believe it will be a ‘two minutes’ song; if i have to borrow comedian Funny Face’s phrase. A phrase that was alleged to have been used by his ex -wife to describe his sexual prowess.
Number 5 on the chart was ‘Totally Cheat’ by Fancy Gadam ft Sarkodie. No 4 was Ebony with ‘Sponsor’, Kidi’s new ‘Odo’ song was number 3, ‘Bronya’ by Wutah was shifted to second place hopefully to take the first position again during Christmas. Hopefully!

Stonebwoy & Louisa

Award winning reggae dancehall act, Livingstone Etse Satekla popularly known as Stonebwoy has debunked rumours that his wife Dr Louisa Ansong is pregnant.

Earlier, it was reported by sections of the media that the beautiful dental surgeon who got married to the man of her dreams in a stunning star-studded event at the Unique Floral centre was heavily pregnant.

Check Out : Photos & Video: Fancy Gadam And Sarkodie’s Sallafest Attract Over 15,000 People

It sparked comments among fans that the newly-wed bride might have been pregnant before tying the knot.

In an interview on Daybreak Hits on Hitz FM with host KMJ, Stonebwoy expressed shock at the concocted story.

He said it is expected of married couple to bring forth children but it was too quick to expect a baby out of the blue.

“There is no baby. I actually saw one pic when her with her stomach out. It’s expected of married couple to bring forth children. It’s not bad anyway but the expectation is too soon. It’s not even there. It was rather too quick for people to expect something like that out of the blue…” he confirmed.

When queried if his career doesn’t affect his marriage, the ‘We come from Far’ song maker disclosed his beautiful wife truly understands him and his profession.

“She knows what I have been into and she knows what I am into. I can’t afford to stay at home because of personal reasons or my career. It’s something we always worked out before now. She’s okay and I am okay…” he indicated.

Nevertheless, Stonebwoy sent an apology to all those he couldn’t invite to his wedding.

He said: “I sincerely apologize. It was meant to be strictly private for us until the news broke out. I know people wanted to support. They meant good and I believe they should forgive me…” he pleaded.
