This year’s official Sallahfest celebration has been endorsed and awarded to one of the biggest entertainment firm in Ghana ‘Supreme Africa Limited’ which is into Record Label, Events Management, Artiste Management, General Investment and a world-class online radio ‘Supreme Africa Radio’. This initiative has officially been endorsed by the Chief of Kasoa, NAI MOHAMMED SANNI SEIDU YUSIF III . Considering Supreme Africa as an event management house and the theme dubbed for the event ‘Empowering the Youth to develop their Talents. the Chief NAI MOHAMMED SANNI SEIDU YUSIF III together with the traditional Council of Kasoa agreed to make Supreme Africa handle the core activities surrounding the event. KASAVAL features top artistes around the country. The main purpose of organizing KASAVL ’17 is to support the Youth as well as unearthing their talents that are in Kasoa and beyond.

The list cannot be left out with the likes of Pixel Zongo Lion , Magnet, Kojo Fynebwoy, Origee who all form part of the Supreme Africa Record Label. The night-sparkling event seeks to demonstrate skill and talents within and around the Kasoa Community and Central Region as a whole. As part of activities marking the event, media houses like Supreme Africa Radio, Pink Fm, UTV among others have all partnered to make this memorable event a success. DXD Reveals Kojo Antwi Influences His Music/Writing & Style

DXD reveals legendary music maestro Kojo Antwi influences his music/writing and style, words from the horses own mouth “I am a diehard fan of Kojo Antwi, aside that he influences most of my music/writing composition and style”, this DXD told KMJ on “Day Break Hitz” this morning on Hitz 103.9 Fm when he was asked what influences his music and writing. Furthermore KMJ engaged DXD is a deeper conversation where he asked him about the time he was strictly a hip popper and suddenly switch from the stage name “Super Slam” to his current stage name “DXD” in reply, he stated “during the transitions, growing up you become a bit matured so you decide to move away from all these nicknames and stuff so “DXD” is basically the acronym for “Dawuni X Dawuni” and Dawuni is basically my name so my full name is Suleihu Dawuni Adams”. He further elaborated “it was just maturity in growing up you would realize you would have to stick to a name that I will be able to defend with my all”. According to DXD it was easy for him to change from his previous stage name to DXD because he did it at the early stages of his career, also he did not live traces for people to know he was the one behind the name “Super Slam”.

Bisa Kdei has once again received another honor, and this time, as the brand ambassador for FOCOS Foundation.

The hospital (FOCOS) which is specialized in complex spine and joint replacement surgeries had their charity event inside Movenpick on Saturday 13th May 2017.

At the event, multiple award winning musician Bisa Kdei was publicly announced the brand ambassador for the Foundation Of Orthopedics And Complex Spine (FOCOS).

Present at the charity were top personalities which include the former president of the Republic of Ghana, HE John Agyekum Kuffour, current trade minister. Alan Kyeremanteng, to mention but few.

President and Founder of FOCOS, Dr. Oheneba Boachie-Adjei with his team awarded and congratulated Bisa Kdei for his music successes.

Bisa Kdei later entertained everyone at the charity event by performing to them some of his hit songs. He made everyone had their happiest night.

I am not a legend in Ghana music yet – Obrafour

 

Musician, Michael Elliot Kwabena Okyere Darko known as Obrafour has said that he is not qualified to be called a legend of Ghana’s music.

The executioner who is noted for composing songs with great lyrics said he has not done enough in music to be considered a legend of Ghana music industry in Ghana.

“I cannot be considered a legend of Ghana music…I have not accomplished enough to merit this title…,” he said.

Since 1999, when Obrafour released his first album; ‘Pae mu ka’, he became a very successful hiplife musician with most of his albums winning awards at Ghana Music Awards.

He was adjudged the rapper of the year, new artiste of the year and best hiplife song for ‘Pae mu ka’ at the 2000 Ghana Music Awards.

His fame transcends the borders of Ghana, as he has performed in Europe as well as the US. His concerts and performances are ones to behold.

Obrafour’s songs have also received awards in some countries as well. He has also featured on a number of artistes’ tracks.

‘The priest of rap music’ as he is called is also acknowledged for bringing out great contents in his songs.

These feats notwithstanding, Obrafour speaking on Adom FM’s Mid-morning show, ‘Work and Happiness’ with Ohemaa Woyeje said he is still not qualified to be called a legend of music in Ghana.

“When we talk of legends in Ghana music, the likes of Nana Ampadu qualifies to be christened legends and not me…,” he said.

Gallaxy Celebrates Wutah’s Come Back

 

Highlife and Afrobeats music group is the most excited group in Ghana at the moment over Wutah’s come-back with a new song for Ghanaians.

Yesterday morning,the group shared a link to Wutah’s new single “AK47″ on their Facebook page,”Gallaxy GH” showing their support and celebration of their reconciliation.

The group made up of Bra Chiky and Kwesi Dav some months ago in an interview lamented over the rate at which music groups especially those they looked up to are fading out of the system.

The group is also on record to have told Nydj in an interview in Kumasi months ago that they will only split when corruption stops in Africa.

Wutah is a Ghanaian music duo made up of Afriyie and Kobby that has won multiple awards before going their separate ways a little over five years now.
