The Accra Sports Stadium was venue for this year’s Bass Awards on Saturday night, which saw Ghana’s biggest reggae and dancehall stars competing for laurels. The reggae categories saw Ras Kuku picking up 4 awards, I must admit I’ve tried to not pay attention to Ras kuuku but his name and his music have been virtually inescapable around Ghana reggae dancehall. His latest video Show them Love is a video I doff my hat for, his Gyeine track is one of the trending songs in Ghana now, as its been played in everywhere. I have come to love Ghana root reggae after listening to this amazing guy Ras kuuku he is a very talented artiste who understand his genre of music very well with his unique voice I will say when his music hit you omg you feel no pain.
Ras kuuku is an artiste I tip to take Ghana music to the international market, with his four awards he picked at the just ended bass awards which I think he deserves he has raised Ghana reggae to another level as I don’t know any reggae artiste who has picked up four awards at any awards night. well below are the full list of winners of the just ended bass awards.
