Having performed on several big stages and giving Ghanaians a foretaste of what the NEW song seem to be, the REKX BOIZ are about storming the African music scene with the release of the much anticipated ‘’Partee’’ song.
A fusion of our highlife, afro rhythms and melodic inflections, coupled with a danceable beat stands out ‘’Partee’’. The song was recorded at the same REKX Records studio in Tema, where mixing and mastering of the hit song ‘’Mampi’’ by Vybrant Faya took place. The “Partee” song features label artistes such as REKXBOI LIL Kay, REKXBOI Kabir Tempo, REKX BOI K’Blaq and REKX Girl Jeepha.
The name ‘’Partee’’ suggests the moment where one could forget the worries of the world and have fun by dancing to a song that appeals to the heart. Speaking to the Brands Manager for REKX Records, Jeremiah Obuobi he said: ‘’The idea behind the song was fueled by the motivation we have, to achieve our dreams and the energy and synergy between us as a music family, to make ourselves and our fans happy. And we couldn’t have done it better than ‘Partee’.”
REKX is an acronym for Real Entertainment Knocked-down Xtremely. Not only is the record label into music production but also has a clothing and sneaker line which is being managed by Ghana’s award winning product designer who also doubles as the brands manager. With series of songs paving way for the music group, the time seem right for the release of the next hit from the REKX Records studio.
