Call it one of the biggest artist signings lately and you will not be far from right as Ghanaian dancehall artist Rexford Kojo Amoah popularly known as Shatta Rako aka Kojo Legend, Di Original has been signed on to Aspire Music Label; a record label owned by Y FM presenter and manager of BET Award winner Sarkodie.
The signing which took place earlier this week will see Sammy Forson take all managerial roles of the artist and seek to the well-being of the artist.
Shatta Rako until signing on to Aspire Music worked with Rudebuoy Records and discloses the move is not to abandon his own label but to get both teams on board to properly work on his career and other businesses.
Speaking on the signing, Sammy Forson disclosed Shattarako was one of the best music artists in Ghana and was proud to have him on board his music label.
Late last year, Sarkodie in a tweet endorsed Shattarako after listening to his dancehall cover of illuminati.
Shatta Rako will officially release a first single produced by Riddim Boss after signing the mouthwatering deal.
