Reggae and Dancehall artistes popularly known as Shatta Wale after 4 years of inactive nominations has finally been nominated for the 2018 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
The news, which stunned many of his fans as they took to social media to reveal how excited they were after their king grabbed nominations for the biggest music awards in Ghana.

The last time, Shatta Wale won VGMA was in 2014 as he emerged the artistes of the years with his hit song Dancehall King.
The Ayoo hitmaker and Zylofon Media signee was nominated for Hiplife song of the year with his hit song, Ayoo. He battles with Nacee, Fancy Gadem, Patapaa, Sarkodie and Captain Planet.
Charterhouse, organizers of the prestigious Ghana Music Awards sidelined the musician for disrespecting the awards and making damning allegations against the awards and the organizers.
The musician apologized to the scheme in 2017 but could not solve the issue since organizers felt he did not apologize to them through the right channels.
