‘2Bad’ was written and recorded by Slimflex and Samantha Cross in Toronto, Canada
with Diet Monkey Entertainment who describes Slim’s sound as a perfect blend of
Afrobeat, Pop, Hip Hop, Dancehall and R&B. Critically acclaimed producer Eric Appiah
Fordjour aka Apya managed the mixing of the song out of Ghana, West Africa.
Final production and mastering was handled by PHS Entertainment in Toronto.
The video for “2Bad” will also be released simultaneously with the single EP, and was
shot in various locations in Toronto by director Ryan Ellis of BBNS Studios. Both Slimflex
and Samantha Cross showcase their seductive energies in the visual, with a nightlife vibe
as the backdrop and that suits the song perfectly.
‘2Bad’ marks Slimflex’s second coming after a brief hiatus to smooth out his career direction and joining forces with the start of the Diet Monkey Entertainment management deal last year). It’s been non-stop for the artist, first with the hit single “Whine For Me” released in Spring 2017, and still making waves across Canada, Jamaica
and Africa.
Now with ‘2Bad’, Slimflex shows off a more sultry and playful side to his signature
sound, with a song the likes of DJ Khaled’s chart topping hit single ‘Wild Thoughts’ in
2017, but with a more Afrobeat/dancehall flare. For the young, grown and sexy
audiences alike, 2Bad is too good and poised to be on heavy rotation for Summer ‘18.
