For the hard work and tenacity that musicians primarily from the region (Western Region) shows, Westline Entertainment believes needs to motivated and encouraged so as to help them work more, for the younger ones that follows to also be motivated and progress; through and award scheme dabbed WESTERN MUSIC AWARDS (WMA).
The maiden edition of the WESTERN MUSIC AWARDS ‘’WMA’’ – Western region, the Genesis of Ghana music rises, to acknowledge and encourage musicians and good music will be launched on 26th November, 2016 in collaboration with Musiga the mother of Ghana music awards at the SSNIT Conference Hall. All funds generated in time, will be used to build a Music Museum for the region. There are so many quality personalities who are being forgotten from the region because of lack of accessible records and also to promote tourism in the region.
