A record breaking digits was recording on the video premiere of ‘The Contract’ by the award winning actress, Yvonne Okro. The movie which was released a few weeks ago is doing amazingly well as cinemas nationwide.
The Kumasi video premier took off at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science Technology last Sunday January 27.
The organisers of the events, iSolveAfrica and Happenerz revealed to reporters that “This was the first time student such huge turnout have been recorded at the premiere of a local movie.”
The contract was release last year in Decmber and had main premering in the heart of the country, Accra, at the National Theatre and later on at the grand Silverbird Cinemas. The expectations of organiser met at the Kumasi event, when a sitting capacity of 1200 was achieved.
