Okyeame Kwame and Okyeame Quophi formed the legendary Hiplife group, Akyeame in the earlier days when rap music been done in Twi referred to as Hiplife was introduced in Ghana by the Grandpapa, Reggie Rockstone.
The duo presented to enthusiast the real definition of the genre – Hiplife and what it truly represents. Here is Brɛbrɛ Obahenmaa, a track which took the airwaves by storm and found it way onto every music chart show across the country.
For some of us who has great passion for Hiplife, we had no option than to record it when ever it was played on radio with a blank recordable cassette and later play it to entertain ourselves, friends and family. Enjoy real good music.
