Prior to his release of his New Guy collabo with Ace Hood, there was so much said and after it’s releases as well a lot of controversies followed as well. As a brand he understand the essence of it and will always appreciate it.

Sarkodie was hosted on the AMPluzz Show on Pluzz 89.9 FM, An Accra radio station and he had a chat with Sammy Flex who is the presenter of the show. Responding to why he decides not to respond to rumors associated with him, he said :
…You look at the positive side. If they are actually talking about it, you need to come down and chill. If they don’t talk about it then it means you have a problem. Whether good or bad I just sit down and enjoy it. At least you trend and that can be an opportunity to gain one fan and I wouldn’t miss that because when I come in and talk it might kill everything.
In all of this, the main aim is to sell a brand and that’s what he is focused on as always. He further added as well, that his true fans tend to be his major concern in all this as they won’t understand why he decides to stay mute.

“.. but then people that love you are the ones that worry so those are the people that I worry about but not the case that comes up. I think most of the people are worried at home asking “oh why are they doing this to Sarkodie?”. I’m actually ok but I think about the people because it is hard for them especially with the family members and fans.
Popularly known as ‘Obidiponbidi’, Sarkodie is on a radio tour to promo his new album “MARY” which will be released on the 12th of September.
