The norm of judging a book by it’s cover instead of reading it’s contents always affects a lot of things that happen. You can either channel it positively or negative and Sarkodie appreciates the positive side of it.
The news about his collaboration with American rapper Ace Hood spread all around like wild fire and it ended up as the talk of town. Additional rumors popped up about him making payments of $25,000 before the song was set into motion ended up in a whole different hullabaloo.
Micheal Owusu Addo who is popularly known as Sarkodie has finally broken his silence on the issue. In an interview with Hitz FM’s Ibrahim Ben-Bako, he stated that the media attention was all he wanted.
“Big ups to the media for the support I think the hype is crazy. It is actually giving attention to the song much more and that’s the idea of what I want to see,” he said.
When he was further asked about the comments he received from the public, Sarkodie said, “It depends on how people take it but it’s nothing that serious and we are focusing on the music part of it and can’t wait for the music to be out.”
In the end all and sundry are in anxious wait of this collaboration which is titled “New Guy”. You can check out the promo videos here as well.
