Nicholas Tetteh Nartey popularly known as Big Ghun is a Ghanaian musician and filmmaker. He is the CEO of PB Studios and PressureBois a filmmaking and multimedia company. He is signed to TNR Music a record label from owned by the young Legend TiC from Ghana. Hailing from the eastern region, he completed Manya Krobo Senior School and is currently in his final year at National Film and Television Institute, reading BFA Film Directing.
Currently in his mid-20s Big GHUN was among the first Ghanaians to introduce social media marketing via twitter trending to Ghana in the late 2014 with his team of Pressure Bois under the name Kobbystone. His achievement opened up doors of opportunities that led to making him a panellist on TV3 New day Friday segment titles “What’s Trending”, he later moved to radio as a panellist on 3Fm’s popular entertainment show – ShowBiz927 aside providing social media solutions to hundreds of individuals and bodies, Big Ghun has acted and directed few television commercials. He was the Piccadilly billboard santa clause across the nation in the year 2017, he played lead roles in television commercials for Kasapreko’s alomo Koolup and Alomo Bitters. Found himself playing lead role in ads for special malt, RMG Ghana and a few other local brands. Working as a film director at his company PB studios Africa, he has directed documentaries and TVCs for cooperate bodies such as Aquah Meyer Aviation and RMG Ghana Limited. He received an honorary award as Motivating Student in Music at the maiden edition of Tertiary Music Awards after releasing his first Extended Play album as an unsigned solo artiste. The digital success of this body of art gave him international recognition which made him the cover model for American based magazine London leblanc magazine in the late 2017.
In 2019 he got signed to TNR Music and got featured on a rendition of the hit song Yawa Dey, featuring TiC, Nero X and himself. This introduced him officially to the Ghanaian music scene and also gave him mainstream airplays and also started performing in the year 2019.
