Ladies and gentlemen, I introduce to you Kwasi Brenya-Baah or simply BRENYA . Having graduated from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Brenya made a life changing decision to pursue a career in music despite the fact that corporate bodies were knocking on his door to give him employment right out of school. “You only have one shot at life. I will make the most of it by using the talents God gave me to do something I really love to do”, he said in an interview.
Brenya recently beat Sarkodie, E.L, Trigmatic and Lil Shaker to win two awards at the Ghana Gospel Industry Awards in the Alternative Gospel Song and Alternative Gospel Video of the Year categories with his song ‘Life’, a song that was on a Mixtape Album he released last year.
Affiliated to CUE Music, Brenya has been studio based working on his debut album. He has now signed a management deal with HiGrade Media Consult, an artiste management company who work with some of the major artistes in the Ghana.
In an interview with the P.R.O of HiGrade Media Consult said, “Ghana and the world should get ready for one of the most versatile and talented musician the world has ever seen. Every arrangement is being made to re-release Brenya’s award winning song “Life” and “Schnapp” which is the first singles off his debut album”.
