After a successful release of 5 video mixtaptes, DJ Xpliph is set to release Xtape 6 which is themed “Ghana Music To The World”.
Award Winning Dj/Vj Raphael Duah, Popularly known behind the deck as Dj Xpliph is set to Release Xtape VI. Xtape has been the only Graphical mixtape in the country and is mostly enjoyed by viewers outside Ghana. Undoubtedly Xtape has been one of the mechanics that sells Ghanaian Content to the world and has also helped to promote Ghanaian musicians.
The theme “Ghana Music To The World” is an indication of the success Ghanaian artistes have displayed to the world through Music videos. I am proud of how far our Artistes have come. Our industry is not well structured but our artistes have worked very hard to show the world what we are made of through music videos. Before, when you compare our videos to that of the western world, the difference was enormous But the story is not the same as today. This is my way of showing appreciation and support to our Musicians and also to showcase what we have to the world, He said.
Last year the Launch was a double celebration at D-Black Oasis Lounge. He celebrated his birthday with some musicians and friends and also launched Xtape 5. This year is also a double celebration at Cockpit Bar & Lounge at Achimota Retail centre on 10th May 2019. In attendance will be personalities such as Bolaray, Berla Mundi, Regina Van helvert, Dj Black, D-Black, Andy Dosty, Dj Bakayoko, Sheldon the turnup, Jason EL-A and a tall list of Ghanaian Musicians.
