I want to ‘chop’ Ebony – Shatta Wale

The life of Afro-Dancehall songstress Ebony Regins known in private life as Priscilla Opoku-Kwarteng is reported to have been cut short by a road accident in the late hours of Thursday, February 8, 2017.

In a interview with Ashanti Regional Police Commander, Ken Yeboah on Accra based local radio station, Abusua FM, he confirmed the death of the singer.

According to the police commander, Ebony had a fatal accident around 11pm, Thursday, February 8, 2017 on the Sunyani – Accra Highway, returning from Sunyani to prepare for a tour U.S.A.

She died at the Bechem Government Hospital where she was rushed to receive emergency treatment.

The police commander added that three other people – two ladies and a soldier also lost their lives with the singer.

Calls made to management and other close relations of the musician have proven futile.
