If there’s any event in Ghana that truly changing the lives of people and getting every youth involved, it’s arguably the National Youth Volunteerism & Patriotism Awards, the event that award people whose efforts in our society are positively changing the lives of others.
The Osei-Kusi Foundation (OKF), organizers of the National Youth Volunteerism & Patriotism Awards, on Friday April, 27 2018, brought us the first edition National Youth Volunteerism & Patriotism Conference & Awards which was held at the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC) and foundations, individuals, students, schools whose works have impacted their community and others were awarded.
The multiple-winning media institution, GH Media School won NATIONAL AWARD FOR VOLUNTEERISM IN RURAL OUTREACHES which was presented by the CEO of Salt & Light Ministries, Rev. Dr. Joyce R. Aryee to the Rector of the school, Mr. Leslie Addo-Listowell.
The event hosted a number of international speakers and dignitaries, including Mr. Billy Williams (Former Australian High Commissioner to Ghana, Australia), Ms. Linda Boakye (Career & Mindset Coach, UK), Mr. Juergen Pallien (Self-Made Millionaire & Philanthropist, Germany), Ms. Kim Green (Organizational Development Consultant, UK), Ms. Ivana de Haan (International Fashion Designer & Philanthropist, Netherlands), Mr. Wilson Agyeman (President of DIF Africa), and Rev. Dr. Joyce R. Aryee (Chairperson of the National Youth Volunteerism & Patriotism Award).
