The nominations for this year’s 4Syte Music video awards are out and tension is already brewing up. NKZ Records’ Guru has been nominated for 4 categories in the upcoming awards and his camp are not happy about it.
The “Alkayida” hitmaker was nominated for one of his current hit singles “Pooley Swag” but his manager Richard Yaw Amankwaa popularly know as Ray Moni is not satisfied with that.
“Frankly, I’m much enthused with the nomination, but I still think’ Baba God and Epic’ videos also deserved nominations considering the kind of work which went into them. Nominating only “Pooley Swag isn’t enough, but all the same God knows best”, Ray Moni told Seancitygh.
The manager also added with much humane that, though he is not chirpy because “Baba God and Epic’ music videos were not nominated, nothing takes away the sort of delectable works organizers of the 4syte Music Video Awards have done for Years now.
“Guru is seen as a major contender to win the top prize. The categories through which Guru was nominated are ‘Most popular music video, Influential artist, hip-life music video of the year and Best Male Video’.
Guru is set to shoot his controversial ‘Exodus’ music video which is to cost him a whopping $100.000 soon.
He is also out with his newest single; ‘Jealousy’ which is currently enjoying massive air-play.
