Hausa Music Festival and Awards, a novelty initiative that has been applauded by entertainment pundits in Ghana and across Africa commenced on an impressive note with a nominees party.
The nominees party which was hugely patronized took place last friday at the Sky Bar in Asylum down. It was aimed at officially congratulating the artistes nominated for the Hausa Music Awards, which is the climax of the music Festival.
Almost all artiste nominated for the awards were present at the party. Some notables include Rashid metal, Rudebwoy Ranking, Garba, Haywaya and a host of others. The party offered an opportunity for nominated artiste to interact with their fans and encourage them to keep voting.
Xcess Entertainment, organizers of the festival used the party to announce the Artiste development seminar at musiga on 14th september and the nominees concert at the Nima highway on the 24th of September.
Hausa Music Festival and Awards is expected to be one the biggest entertainment events on the African entertainment calender. The festival is enjoying coverage support from some international media platforms such as BBC Hausa, Deutsche Welle and VOA Hausa.
