His music journey started in 2009 as a result of his love for dance and videography. Cj was himself a dancer from his junior high days to senior high school. His music production started when he met a rapper in his high school second year. Since he was good at videography, he found a way to use Ucom gaming headphones to pick audios using the jetaudio software, then transporting it unto a beat on the videography software he was using, that’s where he merges the audio with the instrumentals… during these times he got exposed to Audacity and Autotune.
Himself and his crew of rappers and dancers controlled school entertainment till he completed. During these times he got in contact with other producers then that thought and influenced his music production and sound engineering.
people like Dr ray , Ubeats , Nacee , eddykay beat , danny beats , unkle beat , klu monsta became very handy in this process …they all played very special roles in shaping his art.
In 2013, he had his first commercial song with 5Five, Titled Odo bi, he has worked with so many upcoming acts he says had a great influence on his art as well as the Mainstream. Shatta Wale recently hopped on a couple of his productions and made hits out of them, the ones out are; only dem, Sika y3 d3, 2019 and When you fall… there’s so many unreleased as well. One of his recent masterpieces is Dahlin Gage’s Sweet Accra, there’s a remix cooking with Kuami Eugene as well which will probably be out soon.
