MUSIC CONNECT Ghana will be holding a one-day music workshop for twenty (20) new artistes on 19th October 2019 at the Accra Tourism Information Centre, opposite Afrikiko.
The main focus of this workshop is geared towards pushing Ghana music beyond the borders of Ghana and to create a platform to bring together new musicians to explore the future of the music industry.
Themed, “bridging the gap”, organizers promise participants an interactive and practical workshop to help them reach their full potentials in the music fraternity.

The workshop will employ the services of experienced music persons in Ghana and Nigeria to educate, nurture and link new artistes to good record deals.
The workshop will also educate music producers, artiste managers, and other music stakeholders on artiste management.
Music Connect CEO, Ms Esther Konama Gyan, in her statement said her institution after the workshop, will recruit some talents to establish a record and managerial deal with them as a start-up of her music venture.
“We are organizing this important workshop to equip various music stakeholders with the knowledge of business side of their music. Music Connect at the end of the day will recruit attractive talents and enter into a record and managerial deal with them as a start-up. We are not only after talents but we will consider artistes whose image might sell as well,” she said.
Registration for Music Connect Workshop ends on 30th September 2019.
