There are quite a lot of Nigerian singers recently coming to ply their trade in Ghana, from the upcoming acts to the a-list musicians.
This is no news, and this is strongly because of the similarities in culture, and the fact that Nigerian music is greatly appreciated in Ghana.
Sometimes too much, as we can see lots of indigenous radio stations and dj’s playing almost 80 percent Nigerian music content in their mixes.
Barely a year ago, we had of newcomer Mr Eazi, who came into the scene with a Stay Jay song “BABYLACE” where he delivered a hook
After the success of this song, Mr Eazi dropped his debut mixtape : “About to Blow” which is claimed to be the best upcoming project out of Ghana, getting recognition from the likes of Brick and Lace, Mc Hammer, etc.
The next we would hear of Mr Eazi is when his single PIPI DANCE off the mixtape started trending worldwide. To which he dropped the music video.
Shortly after this, Sarkodie employed his services on his album – Sarkology for a song titled Thank You
With pending songs to come out including, XO Senavoe ft Mr Eazi, and Asem feat Mr eazi, Nhyiraba Kojo Feat Mr Eazi, amongst others, I think it is safe to say that Mr Eazi is set to take over this year as the hook killer.
