Flower-Girl-Official-Poster On Friday 5th April, 2013, Ghanaian movie lovers will finally get an opportunity to enjoy the continent’s leading romantic-comedy Flower Girl as the much anticipated premiere takes place at the Silverbird Cinemas.

 

In what is expected to be a glitzy and glamorous red-carpet affair, the event will witness attendances from some of the most prominent names on the movie, music, corporate and political scene in both Ghana and Nigeria.

 

Amongst the big name celebs expected to walk the red carpet on the night are the movie’s lead characters; Tinsel’s Damilola Adegbite, Chris Attoh [recently voted Ghana’s sexiest male celebrity], Studio 53’s Eku Edewor , Bikiya Graham Douglas and Chuks Chukwujekwu,

 

Multiple award winning producer/director, Michelle Bello, will also be in Accra together with the movie’s all-star crew of – Co-Producer Michelle Dede (Big Brother Nigeria), Art Director Bola Bello (AMAA award winner for Art Direction: Small Boy), award-winning Screenwriter Jigi Bello (Shooter, The Waiting Room) and Director of Photography James Costello (Inhale, Last Flight to Abuja and Black November).

 

The cast and crew from Nigeria will be touching down in Accra by Thursday and movie fans are rest assured of catching a rare glimpse of their favourite Nigerian movie stars.

 

While, leading man, Chris Attoh will be hosting his Nigerian colleagues, the roaster of other A-list celebrities expected to be in attendance includes Majid Michel, Van Vicker, John Dumelo, Lydia Forson, Jackie Appiah, Yvonne Okoro, Juliet Ibrahim, BECCA, Efya, Raquel, Richie Mensah,D3, D-Black,R2Bees,Sarkodie, KOD, KKD, Bola Ray, Nana Aba Anamoah, Jocelyn Dumas, Chief Dele Momodu, as well as football legends, Stephen Appiah and Tony Baffour plus a host of others.

 

Flower Girl was first premiered at a lavish VIP event at the Silverbird Galleria in Lagos which saw the crème de la crème of the Nigerian entertainment industry in attendance; thus most event connoisseurs are predicting an even bigger spectacle in Accra this Friday for the movie that has been described by avid movie goers as “fun, interesting and deeply romantic” and is currently rated as the biggest romantic-comedy in Nigerian cinemas.
