Several topics where discussed including the main objective of the Appietus National Music Project and what it means for the 10x lucky musicians to be selected at the later stage within the central region.
Mr. Appiah Dankwah explained that the project will bring about change in Show Business and set the tone for a healthy competition within and amongst all the ten regions where each region will have a Regional Album to promote and market it extensively within the region and beyond to makes waves all over the country. He explained that the move and its success will largely depend on the involvement of all stake holders within the entertainment industry of the Central Region and for that matter all other regions; that is Presenters, DJ’s ,Technical Programme directors ,video directors, fanatics and more. Last but not the least, having that regional agenda to fully support and promote your own products to the rest of the country and the world.
The Chairwoman of the Musicians Union of Ghana Central Region Chapter Nana Ekua Apeatsewah II, popularly known as Queen 1 speaking on the same topic elaborated that the project will initiate an unprecedented agenda for her administration, that is the development and production of the very first Regional Album under her watch as Chairwoman of Central Region Musiga and she is bent on making sure the project will be of a huge success and open opportunities to generate funds through donation and corporate contributions at the launch of the Album Concert slated for a later date after the completion of the selection process, recording and then finally release by December 2018.

Appietus expressed how happy and satisfied he was to see the interest generated by his Central Music Project campaign, and thus it gives him a solid conviction that he is championing a good cause and that he is bringing real opportunities to the door steps of all up and coming musicians across the nation.
After a successful launch in the Central Region the music Mogul Appietus ‘In Da Mix’ and his formidable team will communicate dates for the other regions via future publications .With my observations I will say all upcoming musicians and entertainers in all regions must align themselves to take full advantage of this one time musical production opportunity which promises to launch your entertainment carrier.

King Promise Responds To Allegations of Abandoning An Existing Management Contract

King Promise
King Promise

Talented singer King Promise has rubbished claims by Dubai-based businesswoman that he has neglected her.
According to him, he was forced to leave the businesswoman, Yasmin Behzadi because she said he was a “waste product”.
Ms Behzadi had threatened to take legal action and is crying of neglect after allegedly doling out huge sums of money to help build the talented musician’s career.
Famed for being the woman behind rapper Sarkodie’s clothing line, Sark Collection, the businesswoman is angry that King Promise does not recognise her for her immense contribution to his career.
Venting her anger and disappointment in an interview with Andy Dosty on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM Friday, Yasmin Basadi stated that she started the musical career of King Promise.
She narrated that, after signing him and helping change his name from Boy P to King Promise, she set up YB Records to help push the talented musician’s music.
According to her, she spent in excess of $150,000 on high budget music videos shoots in Dubai, travelling, expenses, luxury cars, Hollywood producers, and promotions.
But reacting to the allegations, King Promise said in a statement that, “Her [Yasmin Behzadi] claims of spending $150,000 was due to her own unilateral decisions and luxurious lifestyles, even if she indeed has spent that much.”
Check Out : Sarkodie – Homicide (Feat. La Même Gang)
He explained that the businesswoman treated the musician like a “puppet” and “Yasmin gave up along the line when her financial expectations were not being met, to the extent of calling King Promise ‘a waste product’.”
Read the full statement below:
STATEMENT TO CLARIFY ISSUES RAISED BY YASMIN BEHZADI
Our attention has been drawn to a series of allegations made by one Yasmin Behzadi against Gregory Promise Bortey Newman popularly known as, King Promise.
It is not our interest to engage in public spats of exchanges with Yasmin Behzadi, but what we seek to do is merely to clarify the issues as put out by her in order to bring some form of closure.
King Promise worked with Yasmin Behzadi and Producer Ced Solo on an EP which was titled ‘African King” in 2014. The first single of that EP was ‘No Problems’ as rightly stated by her. King Promise being a creative person was stifled and restricted from working and producing music under the EP.
There were countless times King Promise was refused from working on features with artistes because Yasmin had issues with them. He became a puppet under the contract with Yasmin. As a businesswoman, Yasmine should know that returns on investments don’t come right after investments are made especially in the music business.
It takes a while for these investments to mature. She asked for profits a month after the release of ‘Thank God’ which was produced by Killbeatz in 2016. Killbeatz explained the nature of music business to her which she neglected. Her claims of spending $150,000 was due to her own unilateral decisions and luxurious lifestyles, even if she indeed has spent that much.
Yasmin gave up along the line when her financial expectations were not being met, to the extent of calling King Promise ‘a waste product’. It was at this point that Killbeatz, signed King Promise onto his Legacy Life Entertainment Label and started everything at fresh. Killbeatz enlightened King Promise about the music business and supported him into releasing all his hit songs till date.
These include but not limited to, ‘Double Trouble’, ‘Oh Yeah’, ‘Hey Sexy’, ‘Selfish’.
It is instructive to note that Yasmin has not invested a dime in any of King Promise’ recent projects(Songs) and so her claim of spending $150000 is preposterous and smacks of an individual with the intent to reap what she has not sown.
King Promise is forever grateful for what Yasmine did for him in his early days of experimenting with music and still sees her as a big sister.
Thank you.

Luvmorh - W3ndi (Mixed By Mizter Okyere) (2)
Luvmorh – W3ndi (Mixed By Mizter Okyere)

The Ghana music industry is bedeviled with allegations of sexual exploitation of female musicians and prostitution by some artists and their managers.
We have chanced on a highly controversial track while browsing through Ghanaian music websites titled “W3nDi” by female artist LUVMORH which is bound to rattle some feathers in the midst of all the allegations of female musicians warming their producers and managers beds. These girls are selling themselves to promote their careers.
Luvmorh, a highly talented Ghanaian afropop musician based in Europe and signed to the label GAZ Muzik has released yet another controversial track that will get tongues wagging for sometime.
‘W3nDi’ which loosely translate as “didn’t you eat” or “didn’t you chop” talks about the sexual relationship between a female artist and her married manager. The two keep denying to the public they’re sleeping with each other until they were caught red handed by the managers’ wife.
The song also advises ladies especially the Slay Queens to pride themselves on their talent and work hard instead of selling themselves for cheap to men and sponsors to promote their unrealistic lifestyles.
Luvmorh is set to release more bangers before December, watch out….
Enjoy W3nDi produced by sound engineer Kobe North and Mixed & Mastered by Ghanaian saxophonist and sound engineer Mizter Okyere the Soul Healer.
