Adomaa Set To Drop First EP Off ‘Adomaa Vs Adomaa’ On Aftown On Sept. 8

Afro-jazz singer Adomaa is set to take over the online space and airwaves this Saturday, September 8, 2018, as she drops the first EP off her much-awaited project, ‘Adomaa Vs Adomaa.’
The ‘Adomaa Vs Adomaa’ project is a 14-track compilation of songs broken into 2 separate EPs, with 7 songs on each side.
The first EP tagged ‘Adomaa Vs Adomaa (Taiye),’ sees the singer venturing into the Afrobeats, Highlife and Dancehall sounds of mainstream Ghanaian music, which she executes brilliantly.

It has stellar features from the multi-award winning Stonebwoy, BBnZ’s prised jewels Ko-Jo Cue & Shaker, and the multi-talented producer/singer Reynolds TheGentleMan who produces all but one song on this side of the project.
The second EP drops less than two weeks after, on Thursday, September 20, 2018, and showcases the singer’s more alternative side.
To kick off the project, Adomaa is releasing a single titled ‘Identity’ tonight, a light-hearted song about her duality as a Ghanaian-Nigerian.
The single is ably produced by UK-based ace international producer, DJ Juls, also of BBnZ Live.
The ‘Adomaa Vs Adomaa’ project is executive produced by Aftown, the foremost Ghanaian music streaming and sales platform, which has signed the singer to this double project deal.
It is done in collaboration with artiste collective VI Music, and will be available on Aftown for streaming and sale after release.

CJ Bigger Wows AT Live On Air


The Soft Launch for Cockpit Pub and Lounges’ Live Band session “Live on Air” took place yesterday at the Achimota mall and was attended by people from all walks of life.
CJ Biggerman, the headline act, thrilled the crowd with his rap songs accompanied by live band music from “The Characters Band”. The event also saw performances from guest artistes Kueiqu Afro, Amerado, Kelvyn Boy, Kev, DaHLin Gage, Dope Nation, Magnom, Jetey and Gidochi alongside The Characters Band and Sheldon the Turn Up.
Cockpit Bar and Lounge is located inside the Achimota Retail Centre and has a live band session “Live on Air” every Wednesday from 7pm as well as other activities lined up every day of the week. They are open from Tuesday through to Sunday from 12noon to 2am and have space for parties and events.

Popular Ghanaian gospel star Joyce Blessing has finally arrived in the United States this Wednesday afternoon 9th September ahead of her much awaited ‘I Swerve You’ tour in USA and Canada.

The multiple award winning singer will tour over 20 states in America to interact with fans and will as well headline her major concert in Toronto, Canada to promote her latest buzzing single ‘I Swerve You’.

The tour which kick starts on the 7th of September will witness a ministration and awesome performance from of the gospel soloist at the Open Ark Ministries International in Garland, Texas where she was warmly welcomed by the leaders of the Ghanaian community upon her arrival.
Joyce Blessing will also run a media visitation in all the states and cities she will visit as part of her tour.

Shatta Wale To Unveil ‘Reign’ Album Cover & Track list Sept. 14 @Accra Mall


The release of the highly anticipated album, ‘Reign’ from Shatta Wale is barely a month away but the enthusiasm and fervour that await the release grows every day.
Zylofon Music, in collaboration with Shatta Movement Empire will be organizing the unveiling of the official artwork of the album, as well the track listing at Mangoes, within the Accra City Mall on September 14, 2018.
‘Reign’, the second album for Shatta Wale and the first under Zylofon Music label, is expected to top charts across Africa and the rest of the world and solidify the status of Shatta Wale as one of the best artists in Africa.
The unveiling of the album cover and track listing are part of a string of activities strategically schemed, leading to the grand album release concert slated for October 13, 2018 at the Fantasy Dome, Trade Fair Center, Accra.
The album, according to Shatta Wale is a potpourri of different genres and not strictly a dancehall album. It has only one guest feature – Nigeria’s Olamide.

100 young achievers from 26 African countries have been announced by Africa Youth Awards as part of the 2018 list of 100 Most Influential Young Africans.
The annual prestigious list which was launched in 2016 and currently in its third year features young politicians, activists, entrepreneurs, entertainers, digital influencers, philanthropists & athletes across 10 distinct categories who are blazing various trails and promoting the positive image of Africa across the globe.

Speaking about the publication, Prince Akpah, founding President of Africa Youth Awards, curators of the list noted; the current list features a record 90 new entrants and 43 females. According to him, this year’s honorees were listed for their individual and collective contributions towards positioning the image of Africa as frontrunners in their respective fields. He also urged other young Africans to emulate the footstep of the listed individuals and join them to make Africa a better and safer place for young dreamers.
Notable among the 2018 honorees are Uganda’s Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu (Bobi Wine), Togo’s Farida Bemba Nabourema, Egypt’s Mohamed Salah, Nigeria’s Davido & Tonye Rex Idaminabo, Guinea’s ABD Traore, Kenya’s Xtian Dela, South Africa’s Cassper Nyovest and Tanzania’s Alikiba.
 
Youngest duos on the list include Musician Nasty C from South Africa and Nigeria’s Social Entrepreneur, Wadi Ben-Hirki at 21 years.
Nigeria, South Africa, Ghana & Tanzaania all lead the list with 20, 17, 12 & 8 representatives respectively.
 
The list which was compiled in partnership with Avance Media, mynaijanaira.com & Made Marketing Group presents an opportunity for young Africans to stay committed to their individual causes and continue to blaze trails across their various fields.

Born Rashida Angeley Nai in Dansoman but hails from LA in the Greater Accra region of Ghana, West Africa. Sheeda has lived all her life in Dansoman and therefore represents Dansoman to the fullest.
Sheeda discovered her passion for music and entertainment generally at the early stages of life.
Sheeda loves to be wherever there is entertainment and will even go and climb stages to perform as a dancer as early as the age of 6 for Money. Also, being an entercom predisident at Keibi Senior Secondary school (now S.H.S) reignited her passion as she mostly found herself listening to songs from her role moldels Bounty Killer, Buju Banton, Spice, Lady Saw and many among others. It also grew her love for dancehall and reggae which she can do flawless.
Sheeda, an old student of IPMC where she studied Database and technology and was also of New Universal Academy is well known to the dancehall and reggae culture and is ready to face whosoever and whatsoever to make her name a household name.
Sheeda is signed unto Kash Time Records. An emerging entertainment powerhouse.
